Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of austenitic stainless steel rods used in main equipment of nuclear power stations, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to hot-rolled and forged austenitic stainless steel rods with diameters ranging from 10 mm to 260 mm used in Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 equipment of nuclear power stations.
