Scope

This document describes the method of determining the content of cobalt, chromium, copper, iron, and manganese in nickel alloys using flame atomic absorption spectrometry.
This document is applicable to the determination of the content of cobalt, chromium, copper, iron, and manganese in nickel alloys. Method 1: The determination range (mass fraction) of cobalt, copper, iron, and manganese is 0.01% to 4.00%; Method 2: The determination range (mass fraction) of chromium is 0.01% to 4%. The determination of chromium content in nickel alloys can also be carried out according to the method in Appendix C.
