Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, order content, dimensions, shapes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of thermal bimetallic strip components. This standard applies to thermal bimetallic strip components (hereinafter referred to as components) used in low-voltage electrical devices such as thermal relays and circuit breakers, and can also be applied to thermal bimetallic strip components used in other applications.
