Scope
This document specifies the instrumentation, sample preparation, measurement procedures, and test reports for measuring the layer number of graphene-related two-dimensional materials using optical contrast methods (including reflectance spectroscopy and optical imaging).
This document is applicable to the measurement of the layer number of graphene flakes and graphene films obtained by mechanical exfoliation or chemical vapor deposition (CVD), which have high crystal quality, a lateral size of not less than 2 μm, and a layer number of not more than 5. The layer number of graphene flakes and graphene films obtained by other methods can be measured in accordance with this document.
