Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, cultivation scope, requirements, inspection methods, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of Xiaoyi persimmons. This document applies to the production of persimmons within the administrative area of Xiaoyi City; Main technical content: Xiaoyi persimmons are a high-quality economic forest species in Xiaoyi City and within the scope of geographical indication agricultural product protection. The main cultivar is the Niu Xin persimmon produced in Xinmin Village, Duizhen Town, Xiaoyi City. 4. Cultivation environment: The production area of Xiaoyi persimmons is located in the eastern foothills of the Luliang Mountains, on the west bank of the middle reaches of the Fen River, and in the southwest corner of the Jinzhong Basin, with longitudes ranging from 111°21′ to 115°55′ east and latitudes from 36°56′ to 37°18′ north. 5. Requirements 5.1 Sensory requirements: They shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1: Sensory requirements Indicator Standard Outward appearance The fruit shape is upright and has the typical characteristics of Xiaoyi Niu Xin persimmons. Color The fruit color is orange-red. Flesh The flesh is soft, sticky, juicy, and sweet. Size The average weight of each fruit is 150g-100g. 5.2 Physical and chemical indicators: They shall comply with the provisions of Table 2.
