Scope

Scope: This document specifies the environmental conditions, site selection and land preparation, seed preparation, sowing, field management, and harvesting requirements for the mechanized production of radishes on the Litang Plateau. This document applies to the mechanized production of radishes on the Litang Plateau; Main technical content: 4. Environmental conditions: The soil quality shall comply with the provisions of GB 15618-2018; the water quality shall comply with the provisions of GB 5084; the air quality shall comply with the provisions of GB 3095; and the rest shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 391. 5. Site selection and land preparation: 5.1 Site selection: Select a site with flat terrain, deep soil layer, loose soil, good drainage, and sandy loam or loam soil rich in organic matter. Rotate with non-root and tuber crops every 2-3 years. 5.2 Land preparation and fertilization: Use a tractor-mounted plow to plow the land with a depth of at least 30cm. Before plowing, apply base fertilizer evenly, spray 2kg/667m2 of Thiamethoxam granules, and apply 400-600kg/667m2 of composted organic fertilizer, 30kg/667m2 of NPK (15-15-15) compound fertilizer, and 1kg/667m2 of boron fertilizer. The tractor used for plowing shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 15370.2. 5.3 Rotary tillage and sowing: Before rotary tillage and sowing, use a tractor-mounted rotary tillage machine to till the land with a depth of at least 30cm, a soil fragmentation rate of at least 95%, and a surface flatness deviation of less than 3cm. The quality of rotary tillage shall comply with the requirements of NY/T 499. 6. Seed preparation: Select high-quality, high-yielding, disease-resistant, and bolting-resistant varieties. The seed quality shall meet the following requirements: purity ≥ 98%, net weight ≥ 99%, germination rate ≥ 90%, and water content ≤ 8%. 7.
