Scope

This document defines a reference model and basic components for representing and controlling a single LAE or multiple LAEs in MAR scenarios, specifying concepts, reference models, system frameworks, functions, and how to integrate 2D/3D virtual worlds and LAEs and their interfaces, in order to provide an interface for LAEs in MAR applications. It also defines the exchange format required for transferring and storing LAE-related data between LAE-based MAR applications.
This document specifically describes the following functions:
a) The definition of LAEs in MAR;
b) The representation of LAEs;
c) The representation of LAE attributes;
d) The perception of LAEs in the physical world;
e) Integrating LAEs into 2D/3D virtual scenes;
f) Interactions between LAEs and objects in 2D/3D virtual scenes;
g) Transferring LAE-related information in MAR scenarios.
This document defines a reference model for MAR applications based on LAE representation, which is used for the representation and exchange of LAE-related data in 2D/3D virtual scenes in MAR scenarios. It does not define the specific physical interfaces necessary for operating LAEs, that is, it does not define the way specific applications implement specific LAEs in MAR scenarios, but rather defines a common functional interface for representing LAEs that can be interchangeably used between MAR applications.
