Scope

This standard specifies the determination of silicon content in chromite ore and chromite concentrate by spectrophotometry and gravimetry. This standard is applicable to the determination of silicon content in chromite ore and chromite concentrate. The determination range (mass fraction): 0.05% to 0.5% by spectrophotometry; 0.5% to 15.0% by gravimetry. This standard shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 24228.
