Scope
This standard specifies the method of measuring the mass of a certain volume of powder to determine the apparent density of surfactants. This standard is applicable to free-flowing powder or granular surfactant materials, and can also be applied to powdered surfactants with lumps, but these lumps should be materials that are easy to loosen and the granules should not be crushed. This standard also stipulates the method of determining the apparent density of surfactants in paste or cream form or products in similar states during filling.
