Scope

This part specifies the qualification test samples, qualification test requirements, and pass/fail criteria for the cartridge drive devices (hereinafter referred to as "drive devices"). This part applies to the qualification of safety-related drive devices used in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Other drive devices used in nuclear power plants may be used for reference. This part does not include the qualification of electrical connectors and igniters.
