Scope

This standard specifies the design, manufacture, testing, and acceptance requirements for water filters with radioactive water as the working (filtration) medium in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard applies to water filters in the nuclear island process systems of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Filter cores used in other process systems and those used in other types of nuclear power plants may be used for reference.
