Scope

This document aims to provide practical engineering use cases for the technical management of power quality in public power grids. It summarizes the practical work of power quality technical management and investigates the existing standard basis to meet the requirements of power quality assessment and promote the development of power quality technical management practices. The sub-field of power quality technical management mainly includes power system operation, customer support, power system planning and expansion planning, etc., covering use cases and power quality requirements related to grid management. This document presents feasible and reusable power quality technical management methods in the form of use cases. The use cases are only provided as informative documents. The general requirements in this document consider the relationships between relevant parties in actual systems and are specified in detail through other standardization documents. This document involves multiple stakeholders in power quality technical management, such as system operators and system users. Table 1 lists the categories and use cases mentioned in the main text.
