Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the monitoring of wild animals using infrared cameras, including terms and definitions, monitoring objects, purposes and scope, monitoring principles, naming rules, sampling plans, monitoring duration and cycle, equipment and parameters, field surveys, data processing, monitoring organization and implementation, monitoring indicators, and outcome management. This standard applies to the use of infrared camera technology for monitoring wild animals and human-induced disturbances in Sichuan Province. However, it does not apply to the use of infrared camera technology for assessing and monitoring the population density of specific, individually identifiable species, or other targeted and specialized infrared camera monitoring work.
