Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of swivel casters for furniture accessories (hereinafter referred to as swivel casters). This standard applies to casters made of polyamide (nylon) injection-molded wheel bodies and Q195 steel plate stamped accessories, primarily used for supporting various types of furniture, household appliances, office desks, chairs, and other furniture applications. (Special-purpose furniture swivel casters made of other materials may refer to this standard for implementation.)
