T/NAASS 081-2023 Potato Ridge-side Rainwater Collection Cultivation Technique Regulations in the Ningnan Mountainous Area

Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terminology and definitions of potato ridge-field rainwater harvesting cultivation technology in the Ningnan Mountainous Area, including seed potato selection, fertilizer application, ridge-field film mulching sowing, and field management, etc. This standard applies to potato production in the southern mountainous areas of Ningxia; Main technical contents: 3. Terminology and definitions: The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1 Soil covering on top of full film surface: Using soil covering machinery, soil is taken from the ridge-ditch and evenly scattered on both sides of the sowing line on the film surface. 3.2 Rainwater harvesting ridge: A semi-circular arc-shaped scraping soil board is used to form a concave rainwater harvesting ridge about 5cm deep, with a ridge width of 40cm~60cm and a ridge height of 15cm~20cm. After the ridge is covered with film, small holes are drilled every 50cm in the concave center of the ridge, forming a rainwater collection field. Rainwater infiltrates into the soil of the ridge, effectively improving the utilization rate of precipitation. 4. Seed potato selection 4.1 Seed selection: Select disease-free, insect-free, and intact seed potatoes suitable for local original or first-grade seeds, in accordance with GB18133-2012. 4.2 Seed potato processing 4.2.1 Sprouting: Evenly spread the selected seed potatoes in a wind- and rain-free area under scattered light for 5-7 days. Cut the sprouted seed potatoes when the bud length reaches 0.3cm-0.5cm. 4.2.2 Cutting: Cut the sprouted seed potatoes into 30-50g pieces, ensuring that each seed potato has more than one bud eye. Prepare two cutting knives and soak them in 5% potassium permanganate solution or 75% alcohol solution. When cutting, discard any seed potatoes with diseases and replace the knife with a new one after each batch of seed potatoes. 4.2.3 Seed dressing: For every 100kg of seed potatoes, prepare 100g of 25% zine
