Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the magnetic levitation force of large-grained bulk oxide superconductors (referred to as bulk superconductors) at a temperature near liquid nitrogen (77 K). This standard is applicable to measuring the axial magnetic levitation force of cylindrical REBaCuO superconductors prepared by the melt-oriented growth method, with a diameter of less than or equal to 50 mm. The axial magnetic levitation force of cylindrical superconductors with a diameter greater than 50 mm and other superconductors with regular shapes (cubes, rectangles, regular hexagonal prisms, etc.) can also be measured in accordance with this standard, as well as the non-axial magnetic levitation force.
