Scope

This standard provides the basic requirements for risk classification and control of special equipment, as well as guidelines for risk identification, risk assessment, risk control, information management, and continuous improvement. This standard applies to the construction and implementation of risk classification and control systems for special equipment users in Shanxi Province. This standard does not apply to the following special equipment: a) Special equipment that has not obtained administrative permits for special equipment or is designed, manufactured, installed, modified, or repaired beyond the scope of the permit; b) Special equipment that has been explicitly required by national laws, regulations, and safety technical standards to undergo supervision and inspection, but has not undergone such inspection; c) Special equipment during the manufacturing, installation, modification, or repair process; d) Special equipment that has undergone decommissioning procedures and been reported to the registration authority.
