This standard specifies the method outlines, reagents, instruments, experimental procedures, result presentation, and method precision for the alkali-melt extraction-rhodamine B spectrophotometry and acid-melt extraction-rhodamine B spectrophotometry methods for gallium in coal. This standard is applicable to lignite, bituminous coal, and anthracite, with a measurement range of (1–100) μg/g.
