Scope
This document describes the qualitative screening method of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry for various plant growth regulators in fertilizers. This document is applicable to the detection of various plant growth regulators (sodium nitrofenate, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4D), abscisic acid, naphthalene acetic acid, ketoconazole, indole-3-acetic acid, indolebutyric acid, cyprodinil, flutriafol, mepiquat, and 6-benzylaminopurine) in water-soluble fertilizers, compound fertilizers, blended fertilizers, and organic fertilizers. In this document, the detection limits for indole-3-acetic acid and indolebutyric acid are 0.5 mg/kg, for naphthalene acetic acid, abscisic acid, ketoconazole, and 2,4D are 0.3 mg/kg, for sodium nitrofenate is 0.1 mg/kg, and for cyprodinil, flutriafol, mepiquat, and 6-benzylaminopurine are 0.05 mg/kg.
