Scope
The standard specifies the terminology and definitions, principles, instrumentation, establishment and validation of near-infrared spectroscopy models, determination, result processing and presentation, and maintenance and precision of calibration models for determining the moisture content of lignocellulosic biomass raw materials using near-infrared spectroscopy analysis methods. It is suitable for rapid determination of moisture content in various herbaceous or woody lignocellulosic biomass raw materials and their derived materials, such as agricultural and forestry waste and energy plants. It is not suitable for samples that are prone to chemical changes at high temperatures, such as acidic or alkaline samples.
