Scope

This document specifies the classification and designations of hot-rolled steel strips used in automotive seat belt retractors, the method of marking brands, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to hot-rolled steel strips with a thickness of not more than 6 mm used in the manufacture of cold-rolled precision steel strips for automotive seat belt retractors.
