Scope
This document specifies the requirements for the materials, design, manufacture, inspection, and acceptance of hydrogen storage pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as "hydrogen storage containers") used in hydrogen refueling stations.
This document applies to hydrogen storage containers that meet the following conditions simultaneously:
a) A design temperature of not less than -40°C and not more than 85°C;
b) Spinning-rolled seamless hydrogen storage containers with a design pressure greater than 41 MPa but less than 100 MPa; and austenitic stainless steel-lined hydrogen storage containers with a design pressure greater than 17 MPa but less than 100 MPa.
