Scope
This standard specifies the terminology, definitions, parameter series, and model compilation methods of phase-change heating furnaces, as well as the basic requirements for safety and performance in aspects such as design, manufacturing, inspection, acceptance, and safety accessories. This standard applies to indirect heating furnaces used in the petroleum industry that operate by phase-change heat transfer, namely vacuum phase-change heating furnaces, micro-pressure phase-change heating furnaces, and pressure phase-change heating furnaces, hereinafter referred to as heating furnaces.
