Scope

This document specifies the management and quality control requirements for the operation, running, and maintenance of electron accelerator devices used in radiation processing.
This document is applicable to electron accelerator devices used in radiation processing with an electron beam energy of 0.3 MeV to 10 MeV and an X-ray energy of no more than 5 MeV. Electron accelerator devices used in radiation processing with an electron beam energy of less than 300 keV can be implemented with reference to this document.
