Scope

This standard specifies the method of indicating the grades of steel plates and steel strips for containers, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel plates and steel strips for containers with a thickness of 1.0 mm to 16.0 mm, as well as cold-rolled steel plates and steel strips for containers with a thickness of 1.0 mm to 2.5 mm. They are mainly used for manufacturing containers, but can also be used for manufacturing camp houses, transport vehicles, etc.
