Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the methods for determining the ruthenium content in liquid ruthenium trichloride products, including the general outline, reagents, instruments and devices, analytical procedures, result calculation, and precision. This standard is applicable to the determination of ruthenium content in liquid ruthenium trichloride products used in ruthenium-catalyzed activated carbon catalysts, ruthenium sputtering targets, and ruthenium alloy targets. The measurement range is 3.00% to 13.00%. This standard is also applicable to the determination of impurity elements such as copper, lead, iron, sodium, platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, gold, silver, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, manganese, nickel, silicon, tin, and zinc in liquid ruthenium trichloride products, with their concentrations not exceeding 0.0010%.
