Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the installation, operation, and maintenance of domestic solar hot water systems. This standard applies to solar hot water systems (hereinafter referred to as "hot water systems" or "systems") with a water storage tank volume of less than 0.6 m3, which use liquid as the heat transfer medium to provide hot water for domestic use, including systems with auxiliary heat sources.
