Scope
This document specifies the general principles, test conditions, test requirements, test procedures, test results, test uncertainties, and requirements for test reports for the performance testing of plate heat exchanger units. This document is applicable to the determination of the performance of liquid-liquid plate heat exchanger units used in heating, domestic hot water, and industrial heat exchange systems. Steam-liquid plate heat exchanger units and plate heat exchanger units of other systems such as air conditioning can be used for reference.
