Scope
This document specifies the boundaries for assessing greenhouse gas emission reductions from biomass power generation and combined heat and power projects, the identification of emission sources, the determination of greenhouse gas types, the establishment of baseline scenarios, the calculation of emission reductions, monitoring and data quality management, and the preparation of emission reduction assessment reports.
This document applies to greenhouse gas emission reduction assessments for agricultural and forestry biomass direct-fired power generation and combined heat and power projects, and municipal solid waste incineration power generation and combined heat and power projects.
This document does not apply to greenhouse gas emission reduction assessments for biogas power generation and combined heat and power projects.
