Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the total acrylamide content and migration amount in tissues, wet wipes, and other paper products used in daily life, such as facial tissues, paper napkins, handkerchiefs, and wet wipes (baby wipes). Other household paper products, such as sanitary napkins, toilet paper, and infant and toddler diapers, can also refer to this method for testing. The detection limit for total acrylamide content is 0.02 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.10 mg/kg; the detection limit for acrylamide migration amount is 0.005 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.025 mg/kg.
