Scope

This standard specifies the classification, specifications, product marking, general provisions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of roof insulation boards.
This standard applies to roof insulation boards made with insulating materials such as expanded perlite, expanded vermiculite, rock wool, and slag wool as the core material, and cement mortar as the outer protective layer (hereinafter referred to as insulation boards). Insulation boards made with other insulating materials as the core material can be used as a reference.
