Scope
This standard specifies the methods for determining the mass of chromium oxide on the surface of chromium-plated boards by the alkali separation-diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometry method and the method for determining the mass of metallic chromium on the surface of chromium-plated boards by the electrolytic separation-diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometry method. This standard is applicable to the determination of the mass of chromium oxide on the surface of chromium-plated boards and the mass of metallic chromium on the surface of chromium-plated boards, with the measurement ranges being 2 mg/m2 to 50 mg/m2 and 50 mg/m2 to 160 mg/m2, respectively.
