Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the production environment, seedling cultivation procedures, production techniques, pest and disease control, harvesting, winter pruning and shaping, storage, and technical archives for the production of Zibo pears. This standard applies to the production of Zibo pears; Main technical content: 6. Production techniques 6.1 Site preparation The planting spacing of Zibo pears is divided into two types: - 3.0m × 4.0m, with planting pits of 1.0m × 1.0m; - (1.0–1.5) × (3.0–3.5)m, with planting trenches of 1m in width and depth. Apply base fertilizer with 3,000kg–4,000kg of organic fertilizer per 667m2. 6.2 Planting 6.2.1 Selection of pollinating trees Zibo pears have moderate self-pollination ability. To increase yield, pollinating trees can be arranged in a ratio of (6–8):1, i.e., 6–8 rows of Zibo pears and 1 row of other varieties such as Pingli, Japanese-Korean pears, Yuanhuang, and Qiushuang pears. For large and old trees, the method of grafting onto branches can be used to graft pollinating varieties onto large branches. 6.2.2 Planting Plant in mid-to-late March, with a planting depth consistent with the seedling.
