Scope

This standard applies to low-voltage electrical equipment operating at an AC frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, with a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V or a DC rated voltage not exceeding 500 V, and a rated current not exceeding 125 A. The standard specifies the requirements for busbars used to connect and carry current in such equipment.
