This document describes the principle, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, system performance verification, experimental steps, experimental data processing, precision and accuracy, quality assurance and control, and test reports for determining the content of sulfur compounds, formaldehyde, and organic halides in hydrogen for proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles using a preconcentration-gas chromatography-sulfur chemiluminescence detector/mass spectrometer combination. This document is applicable to the determination of sulfur compounds, formaldehyde, and organic halides in hydrogen for proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles; for other purposes, the determination of the content of sulfur compounds, formaldehyde, and organic halides in hydrogen within the range specified in this document shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions herein.
