Scope
This document provides a general process and method for the structural analysis of aerospace components, and outlines the information to be considered, including samples, analysis test procedures, structural unit decomposition, and methods for identifying structural elements, as well as the basis for structural judgment. This document is applicable to the structural analysis of components such as semiconductor integrated circuits, discrete semiconductor devices, optoelectronic devices, resistors, capacitors, electrical connectors, relays, switches, fuses, quartz crystals, piezoelectric devices, filters, and radio frequency components. Other types of components may be analyzed in accordance with this document.
