Scope: "Guangrao Da Wang Qin Pepper" was officially designated as a national agricultural product geographical indication protection product in 2013. The geographical indication protection area is located between 118°17′E and 118°57′E, and 36°56′N and 37°21′N, specifically in Da Wang Town, Guangrao County, which is also the location of Guangrao Zhongyi Green Vegetable Professional Cooperative. Main technical content: 1. Principles and requirements for fertilizer and pesticide use in green food pepper production. The principles and requirements for fertilizer use, as well as the types of fertilizers allowed and prohibited, shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 394. The principles and requirements for safe pesticide use, as well as the types of pesticides allowed and prohibited, shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 393. 2. Variety selection: The main cultivated variety at the base is the geographical indication product Da Wang Qin Pepper, and the seed quality shall meet the requirements of GB 16715.3. 3. Crop rotation: There are three cultivation methods: - Early spring cultivation: Sowing from early October to early November, transplanting from early December to early January, and harvesting from late February. - Summer cultivation: Sowing in mid-May, transplanting in early June, and harvesting from mid-August. - Winter-spring cultivation (overwintering cultivation): Sowing seedlings in early July (with a 40-day seedling period), transplanting in mid-August, and entering the harvest period from late January to mid-February.
