Scope
Main Technical Content: 3.1 Artemisia annua, also known as mugwort, is a perennial herb. 3.2 Peng Ai, a cultivated variant of Artemisia annua, whose growth environment meets the requirements of the 2010 No. 159 Announcement of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China. 4. Cultivation Techniques 4.1 Site Selection: - Select areas with an altitude below 300m, a tillage layer thickness of ≥25cm, a pH value of 5.7–6.3, and an organic matter content of ≥1.6%. - Ensure good irrigation and drainage conditions. - Suitable sites include yellow-brown soil slopes, hills, and flatlands. - The atmospheric environment must meet the Second-Class Standards of the GB 3095 Environmental Air Quality Standard, the soil environment must meet the Second-Class Standards of the GB 15618 Soil Environmental Quality Standard, and the irrigation water must meet the GB 5084 Farmland Irrigation Water Quality Standard. Regular monitoring of the atmospheric environment, soil environment, and irrigation water should be conducted. 4.2 Land Preparation: - After selecting the site, conduct tillage and fertilization based on the soil characteristics. Apply 45,000kg of well-composted farmyard manure per hectare and mix it evenly into the soil. - Remove weeds and rocks, level the land, and create ridges 20–30cm wide for planting. 4.3 Planting Density: - The optimal planting density of Peng Ai is approximately 95,000 plants per hectare. 4.4 Transplanting: - In early spring, when Peng Ai seedlings reach about 10cm in height, select healthy seedlings with suitable soil moisture and separate them from the mother plant. Plant them at a spacing of 30cm x 40cm. After planting, cover the soil and compact it. - Transplant once. After one growing season, allow the rhizomes to sprout again the following year. Repeat this process for 4–5 years, removing old rhizomes and replanting new se
