Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of non-metallic rubber-based wet friction materials (hereinafter referred to as "friction materials").
This standard applies to friction materials used in wet friction systems of motorcycles, agricultural machinery, and industrial machinery.
