This standard specifies a method for determining the cobalt content in cobalt ores by atomic absorption spectrometry after preparation of an acidic solution through acid dissolution or alkali fusion separation.
This standard is applicable to the determination of cobalt content in cobalt ores.
Measurement range: 0.05% to 2.0% cobalt.
