Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements, inspection methods, and inspection rules for fixed spot and projection welding machines.
This standard applies to various types of fixed spot and projection welding machines (hereinafter referred to as welding machines) that are powered by voltages not exceeding those specified in Table 1 of GB/T 156—2007 or driven by mechanical equipment.
The resistance welding machine controller (hereinafter referred to as the controller) and the welding machine can be integrated into a single device or separated into separate equipment. However, regardless of the structure adopted, it is applicable to this standard.
Note: This standard does not include requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
