Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method for determining the content of doxylamine, mesapirine, clemastine, brompheniramine, diphenhydramine, secobarbital, diphenylamine, hydroxizine, and chlorpheniramine in cosmetics.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of doxylamine, mesapirine, clemastine, brompheniramine, diphenhydramine, secobarbital, diphenylamine, hydroxizine, and chlorpheniramine in ointments, creams, emulsions, and water-based cosmetics.
The detection limit and quantification limit of this standard are: the detection limit of all nine anti-allergic drugs is 0.6 μg/kg, and the quantification limit is 2.0 μg/kg.
