Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the graphitization degree (G value) of graphitized cathode products.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the graphitization degree (G value) of graphitized cathode products. The measurement range is 70.0% < G < 100.0%.
If this standard is applied to the determination of non-graphitized cathode products (semi-graphitized and highly graphitized cathode products), the measured value represents the graphitization degree of the artificial graphite (graphite fragments) in the tested cathode products. For the determination of the content of artificial graphite (graphite fragments), it is recommended to refer to the quantitative determination method of α-Al2O3.
