This standard applies to the harvesting of Laoshan celery in the Daxinganling region of Heilongjiang Province and the post-harvest processing for fresh storage, pickling, quick-freezing, and drying. Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions: Laoshan celery, also known as Northeast Dongfangfeng, Tudangui, and Shancai, is a perennial herb with a distinctive aroma. It is called "Enduli" by the Erenchun people. Laoshan celery is used for both medicinal and food purposes, helping to strengthen the body and improve immunity, with functions such as anti-fatigue and anti-radiation. It also has significant therapeutic effects on rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and post-chemotherapy and radiotherapy recovery, earning it the nickname of "green gold" among wild vegetables. Laoshan celery grows wild in mountainous slopes, natural forests, forest edges, riverbank wetlands, and meadows. It prefers warm, cool, and humid environments and thrives in soil rich in humus and sandy loam. It is highly resistant to cold, withstanding temperatures as low as -4°C for several hours without damage. Its mature underground roots can withstand temperatures as low as -40°C.
