Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the fiber content of blends of aramid with certain other fibers.
This standard is applicable to the quantitative chemical analysis of two-component mixtures of aramid with cellulose fibers (cotton, ramie, viscose fibers, etc.), protein fibers (silk, wool, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyacrylonitrile fibers, polyester fibers, polypropylene fibers, polyamide fibers, aramid 1313, aramid 1414, etc.).
