Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, inspection, testing, and quality assurance of fire valves, smoke exhaust fire valves, and smoke exhaust valves (hereinafter collectively referred to as valves) used in the ventilation and smoke exhaust systems of nuclear power plants' nuclear islands.
