Scope

This regulation applies to the commissioning tests of 100-ton to 3,000-ton fully balanced and partially balanced vertical lifts for new construction, reconstruction, and expansion of hydropower projects. The models include wire rope hoist-type vertical lifts, rack-and-pinion climbing-type vertical lifts, and hydraulic-type vertical lifts.
