Scope
This standard specifies the detection method for determining the nickel, antimony, and tellurium content in cosmetics using inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of nickel, antimony, and tellurium content in cosmetics. The detection limit of this standard method is: 0.06 mg/kg for nickel, 0.15 mg/kg for antimony, and 0.3 mg/kg for tellurium. The quantification limit of this standard method is: 0.2 mg/kg for nickel, 0.50 mg/kg for antimony, and 1.0 mg/kg for tellurium.
