YY/T 1666-2019 Meridian stimulator

Scope

This standard specifies the composition, requirements, and test methods of the meridian stimulator (hereinafter referred to as the device). This standard applies to devices that, through direct contact with patients, apply non-invasive low-frequency pulsed electrical signals of no less than a peak voltage of 1,500 V [with a load impedance of 20 (1±10%) kΩ] to surface acupuncture points or specific areas to unblock the lesion area and corresponding meridian acupoints for treatment according to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. For a multifunctional device, the content specified in this standard only applies to the meridian stimulation function of the device. For other functions, if there are corresponding national standards and/or industry standards, they should also comply with the requirements of other relevant standards.
