Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, structure, and basic parameters, test conditions, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of differential pressure-type gas-tight leak detectors.
This standard applies to all types of differential pressure-type gas-tight leak detectors (hereinafter referred to as leak detectors) that use differential pressure sensors as pressure sensing elements to detect the pressure difference between the tested object and the reference object in order to determine whether the tested object has a leak and the magnitude of the leakage rate.
